For some of the staff and learners from the 15 schools that participated in the Water for Tomorrow project in Umlazi, the impact of our collaborative work with partner corporation Diageo was significant and will have a lasting effect on how they live in their world.
Before triple-P came, uMgijimi was wasting a lot of water. The students were leaving the taps running and drinking from their hands. Triple-P installed automatic push taps and we now use cups when we drink water. Our school no longer wastes any water.”
Miss Athuluve Mahlathi – student of uMgijimi Primary School.
We would like to thank triple-P, Desmond and his team for the work they did. They have taught the kids to monitor the toilets and now they have proper knowledge on hygiene issues.
Miss B.Z Mfeka – Educator of Cwebekela Primary School.
Triple-P has assisted our school very much. We have been battling with old infrastructure that has been here since the school was built in the 1970’s. It is the first time our school is receiving such upgrades, and we are very grateful for it.
Mr N.G. Zwane – Principal of Zimisele Primary School.
