14th March is International Day of Action for Rivers – a day when diverse communities worldwide come together to affirm that rivers are vital and need our protection.
A critical part of the work done around this day is ensuring communities have access to clean, free-flowing water and that they have a right to participate in decisions concerning their water and lives. Our team is currently out in the field working towards achieving this goal not only in celebration of International Day of Action for Rivers but for every day in between.
At triple-P our ecosystem restoration programmes focus on alleviating environmental stresses in green spaces, rivers, wetlands and community surrounds. It look to address any issues related to the environment, by working with the People who are part of it, providing practical solutions to their immediate problems while at the same time, training, educating, and developing them into resilient communities with local economies built with an eco-conscious mindset.
