Climate Change Through Education

Climate Change Through Education

The ecosystem of people, planet and partners requires a collective effort to remain in balance, with education and training one of the critical cogs in the wheel.

As part of our Tree Planting Project with Barloworld Equipment, we have trained school caretakers to remove and control alien plants from spreading and negatively impacting our newly planted indigenous trees. These new trees are part of a long-term goal to plant 100,000 trees to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change and a key part of ensuring it’s success is removing alien plants that contribute to biodiversity loss and often use more water than surrounding indigenous vegetation.
