Our new WASH project is currently in the final stages of development and is aimed at addressing poor water and sanitation infrastructure and hygiene in schools.
Issues of poor health and hygiene at schools and among learners have not only led to illness and poor attendance at school but critically too, high water wastage, which perpetuates the cycle. On average, a single school wastes 800,000 litres of drinking water annually due to poor water and sanitation infrastructure. The triple-p holistic approach to all our work will see the WASH project tackle water wastage through infrastructure repairs and upgrades thereby improving human health and well-being.
