Meet Ntswaki Ditlhale

Posted on 13/11/2023

Meet Ntswaki Ditlhale, a founding board member at triple-P and a passionate advocate for the environment and marginalised communities.

Ntswaki is an environmentalist with on-ground experience in the environmental and civic-ecology fields that spans over 18 years. As a humanitarian driven by creating opportunities for marginalised communities, she is passionate about finding ways to ensure that ecosystems can be managed by local communities in a way that ensures sustainable livelihoods.

It is this passion that led to the co-establishment of triple-P as a way to holistically address social, economic, and environmental issues to achieve both environmental and social justice.

As managing director and a board member, Ntswaki is a skilled communicator, problem-solver, and innovator known for her hands-on approach. This enables her to connect with the beneficiaries on the ground and gain a deep understanding of their challenges, which allows her to projects tailored to the communities’ needs.

Over the years of proven delivery, Ntswaki has become well regarded in the industry and her approach and opinions of what works and what doesn’t is highly trusted. This has resulted in the development of strong partnerships with business and other stakeholders that further facilitate the work triple-p does.

My goal is to promote dignity and autonomy among the marginalised communities of South Africa while fostering an appreciation for the natural environment, and every project we bring to life takes us one step closer to achieving it.” Ntswaki.

Ntswaki obtained a National Higher Diploma in Nature Conservation from UNISA and a Water Monitoring NQF level 9 certificate from North-West University. Her education fueled her passion for conservation, particularly in creating community-based natural resource management programs.
