Partner with triple-P
Protecting our natural environment through positive impactful interventions in marginalized communities requires the involvement of every sector of society – public, private and civil.
As dependents and beneficiaries of a healthier planet, we believe we are all stakeholders in overcoming the environmental challenges we face and that it takes a range of partnership to build a strong base for sustainable change.
What does it mean to partner with triple-P?
The triple-P’s partner synergies include but are not limited to, non-governmental organisations, universities, and businesses that support, or would like to support, communities in protecting the environment, and providing skills and enterprise developmental opportunities.
Through these partnership, we are able to grow and support the following key programs and initiatives:
- CITIZEN SCIENCE programs where triple-P’s aquatic monitoring training and implementation have allowed communities to collect, interpret and act on complex data independently. Use this data proactively to educate their community and engage with other stakeholders to address the impacts. Our programs have had major success in river health improvement, awareness and education.
- ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION within schools in which triple-P implements Environmental Legacy Programs pertaining to food security, environmental awareness curriculum, and skills development at grassroots for learners to leave their own legacy in water conservation, biodiversity, permaculture, climate change and waste management, and become environmental conscious future leaders.
- GREEN SKILLS DEVELOPMENT to build the capacity of communities in aquatic monitoring, waste management, alien invasive control & management, community education, and wetland rehabilitation to empower them to take charge and build resilience in their natural environment.
- SMME DEVELOPMENT in the green sector allows communities that have obtained green skills to develop enterprises that support livelihood in conjunction with healthy environments.
