Triple-P and DIAGEO reaffirmed their commitment to education and sustainability by continuing their partnership in the WASH project at the Sandakahle Primary School in Umlazi, Durban, making it two years of impactful collaboration since its launch in 2023.
This milestone was marked by a visit to the school by 12 DIAGEO employees and graduates who were taken on a walkabout through the school tour by the learners. Witnessing firsthand the improvements made through the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiative, the Diageo team heard how this project has not only has improved the lives of the learners from a health and hygiene perspective, but has restored dignity and pride in themselves and their school.
As part of the visit, 207 Grade 7 leaners were equipped with essential stationery supplies, ensuring they can focus on this important year without the burden of inadequate tools.
