On 1st October triple-P and Diageo celebrated International Old Age Day by working to positively impact the lives of seniors at Umlazi’s Ekhanana Old Age Home.
OUR MISSION: to uplift the living conditions and well-being of the residents and promote healthy ageing.
Through our collective effort, we upgraded lighting in the home for a brighter, safer environment, donated essential wash chemicals for improved hygiene, and invested in crucial infrastructure upgrades including a new gas stove and fridge, new sofas and better cupboards all aimed at making daily life more comfortable. We also spread joy by gifting treats to the residents, reminding us all that little things can bring big smiles.
This initiative affirms our dedication to enhancing dignity and quality of life for all communities. Here’s to celebrating our elders with love and respect every day!
