South Africa’s water scarcity problem, exacerbated by climate change and excessive consumption, may result in a significant shortage of potable (drinking) water by 2030.
To address this, triple-P has been driving the Water for Tomorrow Programme, which looks to:
💦Save water through infrastructure maintenance, education and awareness & skills development in schools.
💦Improve drinking water quality at schools across South Africa
💦Provide access to safe drinking water at schools in drought-stricken areas.
Our goal by 2030 is……
🎯Save 100 million litres of drinking water
🎯Deliver water and sanitation solutions to more than 500 schools
How are we doing?
📈 39 million litres of drinking water saved
📈 14 schools with water and sanitation solution
